| Bio: | I'm a 26-year-old nuclear chemist living in Madison, Ohio (near Cleveland). I started this journal while I was in college at Arizona State University studying chemical engineering. Ideologically speaking, I'm Catholic, pro-life, and Republican. I'm a practicing Catholic in that I go to church every week and don't usually break the important rules, but I'm not super-religious. I've been involved in the pro-life movement off and on since I was in high school, mostly in the capacity of running the campus student pro-life organization in college. I'd say I'm a moderate-Republican -- I agree with the Republican party platform on some important issues (most importantly, abortion), but not on everything. I'm a loner; I don't have any real-life friends and I've never had a boyfriend (and probably never will). Most of the time, I'm pretty much invisible. I don't have very many hobbies or interests, but I watch a lot of movies on DVD. I also spend a lot of time with my dog, and I occasionally post photos of him in my LJ. Most of my entries are public, except those related to my current job, which are friends-only. The fastest way to learn anything else about me (that's not covered in this profile) is probably to look at my 101 stupid things about me entry (which is kind of outdated, so many of the things no longer apply), and any entries under the memes tag. I remember once imagining what my life would be like, what I'd be like. I pictured having all these qualities, strong positive qualities that people could pick up on from across the room. But as time passed, few ever became any qualities that I actually had. And all the possibilities I faced and the sorts of people I could be, all of them got reduced every year to fewer and fewer.
